A lot of extraneous noise when shifting left hand; I guess this is normal for these types of string, I haven't much experience with acoustic strings. Sound is very pleasant apart from this.

Awsome! Very rare acoustic High C string.

This type of string is scarce and rare on the market.
Producers seems to be unaware of the need of having an acoustic Hich C 5 strings set for their electroacoustic basses too.
But Thomastik fixed the need with this spare string that is the perfect "High" complement for the Thomastik Acoustic Bass 4 strings Set AB344.

Esta cuerda da la sensacion al contrario de todas las que he probado ,que son muchas...,es la sensacion de estar afinado un tono mas bajo. En cuanto al sonido,es realmente redondo ,sin los tipicos "cliks" de las cuerdas nuevas,y muy agradable al tacto,esto se debe a la combinacion del Phosphorobronze sobre Nyloncore,diseñadas para piezo.
Las he montado en un bajo acustico Epifhone (The Capitan),de 5 cuerdas,en afinacion varitono,es decir C (035)G(041)D(053)A(068)E(086) naturalmente Thomastik-Infeld(AB344)Round Wound

Da ich zwar sehr gerne Akustik-Bass spiele, aber mit gängigen Bronze Saiten nicht wirklich warmgeworden bin, mussten die Nylonsaiten her.
Da eine tiefe B Saite (meiner Meinung nach auf einem Akustik-Bass) kaum Sinn macht , habe ich meinem 5 Saiter diese Saite spendiert. Klingt wie eine Nylonsaite ist ein Nylonsaite. Brauch etwas bis sie die Stimmung hält, ist nicht sehr laut, aber spielt sich sehr angenehm. mit der hohen C-Saite kann man wunderbar Melodien, Akkorde spielen und bereichert seinen Akustik Bass (((((Achtung: in Richtung Gitarrenspiel))))).
Die Saiten klingen recht lange gut, aber mit der Zeit wird der Ton wie bei allen Nylonsaiten nunmal dumpf, das Sustain lässt nach, der Bass klingt nicht mehr wirklich. Dann müssen halt wieder nur her.
