Sturdy against all odds
I've been pleasantly surprised by this amazing case. I was a little skeptical because it's made of plastic and not wood, so I doubted the case's sturdiness but bought it anyway because of its dimensions, which were exactly what I needed. I'm happy that I was wrong, as the case looks extremely resistant despite its lightness: the plastic is very hard and thick, so it will handle any normal blow with ease and protect its contents.
Furthermore, the case is light and the latches are flawless. Strongly recommended.

Ideal fit for Behringer X16
This is a sturdy but lightweight little case for 19" gear. I am using this case for my Behringer S16 unit. The build quality is very good. Event though this case is not made from wood, the case feels very solid due to the aluminum profiles.
I recommend this case for any lightweight 19" gear.

Look at the price
It's a cheapie case and you can't expect to go on a world tour with it . I bought it to protect a unit that I only use a few times a year and just wanted it in a small rack.
It's lightweight and meant for light duty and not heavy duty. The catches are all decent just the material will only be suitable for light work .
Overall I'm happy with the job it does for me

Thon - what else
What do I need to add? Nothing: THON items are a guarantee. Good quality, rugged, reliable, ready to be used on-the-road. I do have several of these, which I use for Radiomics, DMX splitter and much more. Totally worth it. I do recommend it. Plus the handle makes it really easy to move around and to transport.

Good Case and amazing value for money.
We use these kind of flightcase for transporting dimmers, DMX boosters, audio signal splitters etc. They are light weight and can be stacked on top of each other very easily while at the same time they protect the equipment and provide also a good way of handling. Bottom line is that the THON cases in general is a competitive solution to carry your gear with safety and style.

Bulletproof!
This is an excellent case, it's had it's fair share of knocks and scrapes over years of gigging and holds up to general abuse very well. Easy front & rear access with captive nuts, corner protection and a good handle.

Good for wireless
I bought this to rack mount a pair of AKG WMS series wireless mic receivers so did not want an all-metal box or anything too heavy. The plastic wall board works well for this size of rack, and the aluminium chassis frame is sturdy. I have ended up putting a dbx Driverack PA+ in the rack with the AKGs and it works well. The short depth means that both front and rear panels of the dbx are easily accessible, and there is space to keep power leads and a few spare patch cables in the rear.

Smart & sturdy 2U rack from Thon
I have a couple of these excellent racks now. Light & strong, and very smart & stylish. Stack really well in the studio and out in the field. Highly recommended. Comes with screws for mounting units too.
