I was so excited about these three modules (Echoz, Zwerb and Z5000), that I immediately started with getting the instruction manual translated into Norwegian.

...because I am new to Eurorack and maybe I just didn't get the hang of the Z5000. I am using it in my setup together with an Arturia MiniBrute 2S, and purchased it mainly for its reverb and delay capabilities.
To be fair, I tried several things as input, from simple sine and square waves to more complex patterns and tested all the various effects; sometimes it was hard to determine how those sounded differently.
Pros
- Diving into the menus is fairly easy, only three buttons needed.
- One 8 HP module for Delay, Reverb and other stuff is pretty cool.
- Stereo Output, should you need it
- Build quality
Cons
- To me, quite a few of the various effects sounded very similar
- The reverb effects weren't really what I was looking for (very long reverb for Ambient music)
Still, maybe it'll work for you.

Top top . Très musical et créatif, c'est vraiment un super multi effet, je retrouve un peu les caractéristiques créatives de certains preset du H3000 , toute proportions gardées bien sûr, en tout cas c'est un tres bon module d'effets pour mon modulaire !

De Z5000 is een module die ontzettend veel effecten biedt. De geluids effecten zijn goed bruikbaar maar ik vind alleen de oproep methode voor de verschillende effecten wat onhandig met de drie druk knoppen met verschillende kleur codes. Het vergt even wat tijd om dit onder de knie te krijgen maar het resultaat is er dan ook naar en het is een fantastische module om aan het eind van je signaal pad te hebben.
