Finally got to see what the hype is about!
Got this a few days ago, service from Thomann excellent. I play on a Tama Iron Cobra double and although the drive shaft looked and felt pretty solid, thought to invest in the Trick drive shaft as soon as it became available, mainly to reduce any lag regarding the slave unit. So my thoughts so far are:
- Fits perfectly to my setup, no problems.
- It is heavy and sturdy, looks like a quality piece of equipment.
- First hour of playing felt different, made me doubt a little bit.
- As i continued practising for the next few days, i started noticing the pedals felt more responsive and light under the feet, slave pedal especially.
- Gives me the impression i have to tighten the springs a little bit.
- Needs little time to get used to.
All said, it is a good investment and so far delivers to an extent what it promises. Both pedals feel definitely more equal as far as action is concerned. Smooth is a word that fits for sure... Don't expect miracles though, you have to practise hard to achieve high speed, endurance and consistency.

Works perfect with my Pearl Eliminator
Got this UDS as a replacement to my Pearl Eliminator Shaft. Works well and I am pretty sure it will work with other pedals too. However, there is one tiny problem - whether the hoop on my kick is too shallow or the upper part of the Trick UDS is too wide, you really have to be presise with how you place main pedal into the hoop. If you place it too "deep" into the kick drum hoop, the UDS starts scratching against the hoops which is rather annoying and affects your performance.
Just one factor to be aware of, otherwise the build quality is five stars.
Thomann shipped same day and tracking number worked all the way to Norway.
I recommend =)

Versatile and Strong
top quality product from trick drums! I used these on my pearl double pedals.
Very strong and tough build
can be used with some different double pedals brands
can be used to give your old pedals some more stability and connection.
Value for money guaranteed as I couldn't find any flaws in design.

Worth it!
Bought this to replace my stock Tama Iron Cobra linkage after 5+ years of use. I know it a common thing with Iron Cobras that the linkage starts to adopt some play and feels less responsive. Well mine did and it even started rusting on certain parts, however I do not think this affected its function much.
Anyways, I could not get myself to pay Tama close to 100€ for a new linkage, which I knew was bound to encounter the same faith as my old one. So after some research I decided to pay some extra Euro and get the Trick one.
I am super impressed with the quality of this system. Its somewhat heavier than the Tama, but no more play, no more slack, everything as it should be! I am now 4+ years into using it and there are no signs of a comprmise in functionality!
Honestly saved me from buying a new pedal!

hey, i replace my drive shaft with this one on tama dyna sync. It is well build and it's have no lag now.
Only down is that screws are direct on shaft and leave marks where you tight them. It's not necessary bad thing, because i move pedal alot from practice pad to drum kit so i see how wide i had pedal before.
soo it's great shaft very heavy with no lag and feel on left feet it's much better.

The only option if you like your pedals wide apart
This is the only product I found in Europe that allows me to put my slave pedal to the left of my hi-hat, which is my preferred way of playing (hey, I'm not the only one - check out Claus Hessler's setup). Not cheap, but really well built, and longer than all the shafts I tried or checked out online.

The best drive shaft for Tama SC
As you know, the Tama or Pearl factory shafts have small gaps that give an unpleasant feeling when playing. Add some delay and clicks. This shaft has absolutely zero latency! No clicks at all! It feels like a solid piece of metal! This shaft is priced like the factory shaft, but does its job much better. I recommend it for Tama SpeedCobra!

Now drummers: This is a must on your pedals!!! I have it on my Speedcobra and the feeling on the left leg is as near as having a 2nd kick drum. I highly recommend it . Its built like a tank BTW

Pure quality!
This shaft made my Tama Speed Cobra (a great pedal) yet greater. This shaft will make any pedal better. Bearings are so smooth and there is absolutely NO lag at all. Same feel on both main pedal and slave unit.

Bets buy in my life
I'm playing yamaha fdp 9000. The shaft has been damaged through contact with the base drum's rim.
I was checking reviews on this specific shaft
It's freaking epic
