Expensive for what it is!

What can I say about this product? It's a handle for an Ultimate Apex. Yes it works and it's easy to fit. Without a handle the Apex is more difficult to carry with one hand (unless you hold it by one of the clamps).

It's sturdy enough for carrying the Apex stand, just beware using it if you're trying to reposition a stand with keyboards on it. I did this and the handle broke off in my hand. Not so much the fault of the handle itself, but a design weakness of the (otherwise excellent) stand. These stands are designed for live use yet are very difficult to move when loaded.

I would give the handle 4 stars, but I think the price for a small piece of plastic is excessive. Especially when you consider it is 2 or 3 times more expensive that the larger metal accessories for the Apex range.

Just like buses the handles on my Apex Ultimate Support stands broke.

Looking around the internet and local stores I could find no one that stocked them, a quick search on the Thomann site and I found the handles, and the price was very good as well.

No more will we have to awkwardly carry the stands to gigs....

Den Handle habe ich mir als Reserve-Ersatzteil gekauft, da der Originalgriff bei der ersten Benutzung des Ultimate AX-48 Keyboardständers abgebrochen ist. Thomann hat mir natürlich innerhalb zweier Tage einen neuen Griff geschickt. Vielen Dank dafür!
Der Haltegriff ist nach meiner Meinung nicht robust genug konstruiert, um das Gewicht des Ständers zuverlässig zu tragen. Die Befestigungslöcher haben keine Verstärkung (z.B. in Form einer Metallhülse) und das Material ist zu brüchig. Hier sollte Ultimate nachbessern.
