Brilliant sound and ANC. Durability could be better.
I love these headphones. Sound great, look great. ANC is very good and there is little feedback from the mics when ANC is active. Just some very faint fuzzing. With sound on you can't hear a thing.
I am wearing these every single waking hour (autism) and they do a great job at blocking out sound. The battery life is very good and they don't take too long to charge.
I have just ordered my third pair of the VMK25s over the course of two years. I wear them so much that I know I am asking for much in regards to the durability being better, but I would love it if a more sturdy version of the headphones was released, and I would happily pay more for them.
I have used the Valco repair service three times for three separate pairs of headphones (VMk20 and VMK25 x 2) and they are always courteous and swift. Never an issue.
I would love to invest in a pair in which the ear cups don't get detached from the headpiece as easily as they have in the past, which is my main gripe with the build of this particular model. I did my utmost to take care of my most recent pair but the earcup snapped off regardless.
Alas, I may be asking for too much. Considering the price of these headphones now, they are worth every cent.
If you have autism, you need these. Every time I take them off I brace myself for the impact of reality XD They are my shield with which I defend myself from the sensory vices of the world (and they have incredible clarity of sound - listen to Amnioverse by Lapalux if you want sound to move around you -- specifically the track 'Thin Air').
If you don't wear these 16 hours a day, you likely needn't worry about durability as much as myself. Also, the Bonephones edition looks great.
I WILL PAY FOR MORE DURABILITY VALCO!!! Love ya <3
