Die Classic Metal Sticks sind in typischer VF-Manier super verarbeitet und jedes Paar ist perfekt ausgewogen. Sie wirken auf den ersten Blick dabei nicht wie Sticks, mit denen viel Feingefühl und leises Spiel möglich wäre... das ist aber ein Irrtum. Die krasse Überlänge, der große Durchmesser und kurze Taper und die Spitze laden natürlich sehr dazu ein, laut zu spielen. Der dünne Hals zwischen Tip und Taper sorgt aber für eine sehr gut Übertragung der Resonanz des Sticks, was nicht üblich ist für derartig klobige Modelle. Wer sich an das Gewicht gewöhnt und es zu kontrollieren lernt, kann mit diesen Sticks sehr vielseitig spielen. Gerade in Musikrichtungen mit einer großen Dynamik-Range könnte das helfen. Ich bin auf jeden Fall super glücklich!

Benutze die Sticks jetzt schon seit 2 Jahren, es ist für mich der beste Kompromiss zwischen Länge/Gewicht der Sticks und Stimmstabilität der Kessel. Ich hatte vorher Marching Sticks gespielt, allerdings haben sich da die Snare und Toms nach ca. 15-30 Minuten verstimmt (vor allem die Snare). Wenn die Sticks Rimshots noch etwas besser überstehen würden gäbe es 10/10, so eben 9/10 und alle 2-4 Wochen neues Paar Stöcke.
