Does the job, but not the THING

I expected more from a made in Germany product. Ok, it does it job pretty well, but in terms of build quality it is a pretty cheap-feeling lightweight thing. It does not give you the feel of a "classic". Also, it is not stable on its three feet (why not make four?), and the plastic feet can easily scratch the lacquer on the piano (why not make some soft pads?). Overall, I cannot recommend it. I'd rather buy a good quartz alternative.

It does what it should do, the only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is because it has a flimsy plastic clip that keeps the lid in place. It's a timeless design, normally these things don't break, so why choose for such a cheap clip?

Was soll man zu einem guten Metronom sagen? Macht laut tack tack tack...
und zwar möglichst gleichmässig. Wer was Gutes will sollte zugreifen. Ich habe die Variante ohne Glocke gewählt weil ich das nie brauche. Das Holzgehäuse ist angemessen verarbeitet. Einzig der Plastik Schiebeverschluss für den Deckel hätte etwas hochwertiger ausfallen sollen. Für den Preis wünsche ich mir hier etwas aus Metall. Ansonsten Top! Man hört wie die Zeit vergeht
