AC5R is a beast
skarsson 11.01.2021
I absolutely love this guitar. I've owned a lot of great acoustic guitars over the years and
this is definitely one of the best I've ever owned.
The only modification I did was lowering the action, I like it rather low, so
now it plays like a dream for me.

If this guitar had another name on it's headstock the price would most likely be double, even more

It's hard to believe that Yamaha is still this underrated after all these years.
Even their Chinese models are fantastic, I own 2 Chinese models from them, my brother and dad own a few and
they all play great and sound great.
In my honest opinion no one beats Yamaha when it comes to quality and price.

Pros:
- Plays phenomenal
- Sounds like it's been played for many years, big and open sounding
- Comfortable to play
- Electronics are great and easy to use, mic selection is easy to blend in usable sounds.

Cons:
Uhmmmmm.......

F
Exactly what I expected from Yamaha ! Class..
Fred.SRF 13.12.2021
Absolutely fabulous guitar. the first impressions, sound and playability of this guitar straight out of the case was unreal. I had intended on the LS 16 ARE but on reading reviews on ACR5 I went for it instead, a bit more but so worth it now, I am delighted with it and cannot put it down. You have to play it to really appreciate it. It certainly will leave many other more expensive models standing .My first guitar was a Yamaha FG-335 that still plays beautifully to this day. So my thrust in Yamaha was not misplaced in this guitar. I had spent a lot of time in guitar shops looking at guitars while waiting for this and nothing seemed right (maybe to many choices) but bingo the minute this arrived.
As for Thomann I cannot speak highly enough about them. My experience of them has being totally positive Thank you. I have no problem in recommending them to anyone.

Great as expected!

This guitar is great in all aspects. Mainly it sounds perfect. I wanted to buy A5R but finally I decided to buy AC5R because it fits better to my finger playing style. I play guitar more then 35 years and I tried various guitar brands and types already. This one has great value for such money.

It?s got to be perfect...
Gunslinger 18.03.2020
