All around 5 star for this. Easy to play, sounds great from high to low... Didnt even try the Z2 leadpipe, Z1 was on the instrument and I dont have the need to try the other one.

Tolle Ansprache und Flexibilität

Die YSL-897 Z ist eine tolle Posaune für Jazz, Big Band und kleine Besetzungen. Die Ansprache ist unglaublich direkt, der Ton reagiert sofort und lässt sich sehr gut variieren. Ich spiele das Instrument (small / dual bore) mit einem Mundstück, das einen nicht zu flachen Kessel hat (genauer Yamaha N. Landgren Modell).

Après plus de 15 ans passé sur un Bach 16, je cherchais un peu de renouveau, avec un instrument plus moderne.
Très content de ce Yahama série "Z". Je l'utilise principalement en fanfare (formation musique de rue). Outre cette petite élégance dans les détails du contre-poids, je lui trouve une bien meilleure projection, plus agréable et facile à jouer quand il faut de la puissance.
Je le joue par contre avec une Best Brass TB-S-6B ou Denis Wick 7CS (que je possédait déjà et utilisait sur l'ancien tbone). L'embouchure fourni avec est... quelconque, quand on est déjà habitué à certains modèles.
Sans parler de l'étui d'origine, sorti tout droit d'une autre époque. Peu pratique et peu confortable. Remplacé immédiatement par un étui Thomann (le TV).
