This pad has no rebound in it, so can't play rolls.

Quite silent pad with very minimal rebound

Quite silent practice pad. However, I think it's too large and heavy and the rebound is very minimal. Encourages to play a bit louder since the sound gets nicer the louder you hit

Kinda like it after all and it makes a great duo set with the Moongel pad. On the deserted island would choose the Moongel pad though. However, I've tried many (!) practice pads and this clearly goes to the top 3.

Great product, I do my rudiments on this, not noisy, my neighbors keep telling me they hear nothing.
The only thing I would change is the logo on the top surface, just esthetics.

Härter als ein Kissen, weicher als ein Pad!

Wenn man das Sultan Pad kauft, sollte man sich im Klaren darüber sein, dass das Pad eine sehr weiche Spielfläche hat. Das Pad ist ziemlich simpel aufgebaut. Es besteht aus einer gelben Holzplatte mit von unten eingelassenem M8 Gewinde. Die Oberfläche aus 2cm Moosgummi ist ziemlich weich, so dass der Stock nicht zurückprallt. Vom Spielgefühl gleicht das eher dem Spielen auf einem tief gestimmten Standtom. Es gibt also keinen/ kaum Rebound, sondern der Stock sinkt etwas in die Oberfläche ein, so dass man gezwungen wird, aus den Handgelenken zu spielen. Die Gummifläche ist jedoch hart genug, so dass der Stockaufschlag deutlich zu hören ist. Insgesamt ein gutes Pad, um die Finger und Handgelenke zu trainieren.
