Great sounding headphone for a closed back, quite boomy but doesn't drown out too much detail.

The build feels solid in hand, but the design is flawed. The hinge used for folding the headphones causes the wire for the left channel to weaken and eventually break over time. In my case, this happened after about 7 months of use, with the headphones being used roughly twice a week.

Apparently this issue is common for this headphone.

Very disappointing quality, akg doesn't make em like they used to after being acquired by Samsung.

After less than a year the false leather earpads started to flake like crazy. Never had such a bad quality material in my headphones. If you don’t mind getting a black flake residue all over your ears/face/hands every time you wear these go head and buy these as they sound all right for the money.
