Replacement cable for DT990 Pro

I recently did a mini-xlr mod on my Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro and bought this cable to replace the coiled cable, thinking I'd like it more. However, for my personal use the coiled cable on the DT990 is much more usable and this just leaves a cable mess on my desk. Cable and audio quality is fine, the straight cable just isn't for me though.

Just a headphone cable

Well... there should not have been any reason to buy this if the AKG original cable would be ok (my old cable outer insulation sleeve just started to crackle and felt apart by itself due to poor material quality,
I hope this does not happen to this cable). Still looks and feels better than cheaper replacement cable from AliExpress and regretfully is 2-3 times more expensive. The connectors looks better though.
