I writen a lot here I like longlife things.
So the products AKG it's a good example of this.
But time is have no mercy and things broken sometime.
In case of my AKG K141 it heppend, old cable was broken after 8 years of using(I thing this is a good result)
So I just bouth new cable and my headphones works again.

Using for K-240
My 10 year old K-240's cable was broken and i needed a new cable. I had options to buy from third party brands but i wanted it to be from AKG. I'm glad that i did it.
When it comes to cable, actually it doesn't matter if you buy from original brand. But, when you do it, you feel confident. I also replaced foam nets and pads from AKG, my K-240 is like a brand new one right now. Thank you Thomann for fast shipping!

I destroyed a lot of headphones in the day by rolling my chair on it's cables or tripping over it. Ever since I got my AKG I just replace the cable once in a while. this is my 2nd cable in over 7 years. great stuff

I'm very glad to have my home studio headphones back in use. After my cat got hold of the cable the connection was defective. I now have a replacement cable sent from Thomann in Germany which was easy to find at the online store, and arrived within a week. All good :)

Awesome !
AKG quality ! never fails delivering the sound quality expected. Just a little reminder : do not over abuse bending the strong ends as they will fail. Love your cable and the cable will love you back. :) The fact that this AKG type of cables are detachable it is a big plus (saved me a lot of trouble with packing). I am happy with the product .

It's okay.
The price of this product is little high in my opinion but I like the fact that I can at least change just the cable and not the whole headphones. It gets the job done.

Awesome customer support
The original cable for my AKG K371 got damaged and i just asked the customer service, if i can use this one too (so i could buy this) and instead they immediately sent me this one for free as reclamation.
Cable is a little bit long though, if you want to use it for going outside.

they last forever
I still have one of these, it is 5-6 years old, the outer black rubber layer got peeled off 3 years ago due to a heavy pinch, so since then I have used it "naked". It still resists trips, knots, wheels, etc., not a single fault.

Strain Relief
One of the areas my AKG K141 headphones were showing their age and use was where the cable clips into the headset. Causing intermittent connection, this was a real nuisance. As I prefer to repair than replace if possible, this new cable is a relief!

I forgot I bought this!
Yet still it reminds me of good times pre-uni-life, when I needed a new cable because the puppy chewed it up. I still have it, but the cans died on me a year back. Now I'm rocking the audio-technica's.
