Üblicherweise bevorzuge ich insbesondere für live HSS Strats, um in Stegposition mehr Kelle zu haben, zumal ich auch Les Pauls (mit Humbuckern und auch P90) liebe. Ich bin daher mit SSS Strats nie so warm geworden. Da ich genug Gitarren habe, wollte ich jetzt doch mal zur Abwechslung eine umrüsten und habe das Bareknuckle Set bestellt, da es ja auf Gainsounds abgestimmt ist, obwohl es ja nicht großartig overwound ist. Ich bin doch ziemlich angetan, da der Stegpickup, der für mich immer das Problem war, schön stabil und kompakt klingt. Nicht schrill und schneidend, obwohl der Singlecoil Charakter voll da ist. Sehr gutes Set für Bluesrock, Rock, Hardrock etc.. Empfehlung von mir.
