super nice rain maker
well made for an affordable price, beautiful sound. Long enough to make a rain effect but short enough to be played with one hand (holding it in the middle) so you can play another instrument at the same time.

Looks and Sounds great!
I bought this recently for recording additional percussion onto existing electronic productions. The Rainmaker feels incredibly well built and has given me a huge variety of different sounds for my productions. I've found the sound to be sweet and light, producing very realistic rain noises. I've also used it as a heavy shaker, which I really like the sound of too. The sustain is good, but certainly could be longer. I've tried to draw out the "rain" sound for more than 10 seconds but to no avail! However, given the price, I am very happy with my purchase! It also looks incredibly authentic and has a lovely wooden finish that feels great to play.

A very fun sounding instrument, great for adding some nice extra percussion to the more electronic tracks.

Love it!
I use it to relax and when I play on live Sound Journeys. It is portable and has a warm sound. Of course you have to be careful as materials are organic and needs to be stored properly.

Perfect for compact Rainfalls
Perfect if you want smaller rainfalls - of course you buy smaller if you want to travel lighter and don't mind the reduced pebble fall. I love it. Really simply made, I would have loved to know where this had come from and who made it - it's come from so far and to be in my hands without knowing this is a loss. From my invoice I see it's from Chile and made of Kaktus....
