Mundstück für tollen Flügelhorn-Sound

Seit Jahr(zehnt)en spiele ich auf dem Flügelhorn ein Denis Wick 4FL. Es hat einen sehr schön tiefen Trichter und dementsprechend ist der Klang wirklich sehr weich, dunkel und hornartig. Die meisten Flügelhornisten spielen leider auf Mundstücken mit viel zu flachen Kesseln bzw. Trichtern, so dass ein richtig schöner Flügelhornklang gar nicht entstehen kann. Der tiefe Trichter beim Modell 4FL geht natürlich ein bißchen auf Kosten der Sicherheit bzw. leichten Ansprache im höheren Register. Deswegen habe ich mir für Partien in der höheren Lage zusätzlich das Modell Denis Wick 3BFL gekauft. Der Klang ist nur unwesentlich weniger dunkel und hornartig, dafür ist die Ansprache in der Höhe deutlich leichter.

Ich kann dieses Mundstück nur empfehlen, insbesondere für diejenigen, die auf der Trompete den gleichen Kesseldurchmesser spielen.

Ich verwende das Mundstück in einem Musikverein. Bei uns wird ziemlich jede Musikrichtung gespielt. Bisher war der Sound weder zu hart, noch zu weich oder sonst etwas.
