Tolles Produkt, aber nicht meines

Ein Modul, welches man gerade gegen ein anderes umgetauscht hat zu beurteilen, ist eine Sache für sich: Ich suchte ein BBD-Modul, wie ich es von meinem Prophet 6, oder von der Bias FX Software kenne; also Plug and Play, ohne frickeln.
Das macht das 188er nur bedingt.
Denn es ist im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes authentisch: Man muss feinjustieren und nach dem richtigen Effekt suchen. Ausserdem werden dabei - konstruktionsbedingt, denn es handelt sich ja um einen highspeed VCO - auch noch alle möglichen hochfrequenten Fiepgeräusche erzeugt und mit Distortion ist das 188er auch nicht sparsam.
Oder anders: auf Regler zum Anschlag drehen reagiert es durchaus pikiert.
Ich habe mittlerweile gelernt, daß man all dem oben Beschriebenen mit entsprechenden Filtern zu Leibe rückt. Also nix Audio rein, Audio plus Effekt raus.

ABER: es ist eben eine Analoge Bucketbrigade. Wenn ich also Automatik suche und Schaltgetriebe kaufe, bin ich selbst schuld.

Für alle, die nicht genau wissen, was sie erwartet: U-Tube hilft weiter. Hätte ich mal vor dem Kauf schauen sollen...

Das Vintagelayout sieht sehr ansprechend aus und die Verarbeitung ist erstklassig.

Fazit: Hochwertiges Effektmodul für Anspruchsvolle.
