It sounds so good! Really love the sound of this one. Better than a glass or steel one. It surface is very smooth so it's a joy to play.

For smallish ring fingers only

I have given this a 4 star overall as it seems it would only fit smallish ring fingers. Having said this it feels comfortable on my little finger which I think is the finger they recommend using. I have never owned a slide and chose this as Dunlop products have never let me down. It is very well made, has a good weight and has smooth edges at each end. Thomann's delivery/tracking was excellent as it always is.

Great tone

I have found that some slides give a muddy tone. However, brass gives a certain clarity of tone over other materials used for guitar slides, and this one is no exception - warm yet wonderfully crisp. Feels solid without excessive weight.

A Mellow Slide
I bought this to compare with my chromed steel slide. It's a little heavier and a fraction longer than the steel. It suits me better, the slight increase in weight helps stop me pressing down against the frets and I get a clean sound more frequently although the differences are fairly minimal. I bought this along with an Ovation Celebrity and the two marry up very well producing a mellow sound.
Delivery was surprisingly efficient. I ordered on line on Sunday and the guitar and slide were with me on Thursday morning- Germany to UK in three and a bit working days. Thanks Thomann.
