Lives up to the hype

Great for sweaty hands and controled picking because of its proximity to the hand

Best picks period!
DanielPicon 10.03.2022
The Jazz 3s are the best picks out there, I don't know exactly what is it but when I play with these my playing increases noticeably, they are just comfortable.

I think a good pick is paramount to great guitar playing, if you don't feel comfortable with your instrument that's going to translate to subpar playing, don't let bad picks ruin you!

These pics feel great, I always liked the jazz 3 pics but I always had a problem with dropping them since using these I have not dropped them once.

Not like the normal ones
André- 28.01.2026
I've been playing for more than 10 years with the normal jazz III and I tried these ones for the grip.
The grip is great but I found that the attack and the sound are different.
I don't like them, I'm too used to the other ones. I played for 10 minutes and back to the normal ones.
Not for me.

Best pick for precision!
Glista Grindcore Band 21.02.2023
Ever since I switched to these, my picking has become more precise. The small size of the pick really makes you work, but in a good way. It makes you focus a lot more on your picking hand.

This is the most grip I ever had on any pick, perfect for live performances. (If you wash the pick with soap right before a concert it will not slip from your fingers).

Made my playing much more accurate
Mindys 06.05.2019
Since i started playing with these i don't want to use any other picks. At first they looked very small and i thought it will be difficult to handle them, but i was very surprised. I got used to them very fast. One thing that stood out was the grip. I always looked for picks that has good grip, because others tend to slip and flip in my hands. These are incredible grippy. They don't move between your fingers and size is excellent. My playing is faster, more accurate right now. Next thing, they last insanely long. For example, before i used pickboy pos a grip. I liked them a lot, i like them still. They are bigger, the grip is really good, but they tend to wear very fast, even if they are really thick. I can't recommend enough these Jazz III picks.

Better grip for gigs
i.ak 13.02.2014
The original Dunlop Jazz III has been my choice for years. The Max Grip -version is otherwise identical, but offers better grip than standard Jazz III. Good for live shows if you have a tendency to loose your picks while performing your rock moves on stage. Material seems to be as durable as standard red Jazz III. Ultex is more durable, but at least myself cannot find them in dark onstage so I rely on the red ones.

I hope Thomann would start offering bigger packages for these as manufacturer does offer 24 and 36 EA packages as well.
