Great design with some quality concerns
Excellent guitar, extremely playable, great neck profile with weight reduced body.
Colour is beautiful but less sparkly then expected. By looking at the pictures I thought camera didn't do justice to the colour, but images are well taken and guitar really lacks sparkling effect. If you want sparkly colour, go with the Pelham Blue version. Nevertheless, Burgundy red is breathtaking. Finish is not as tick as on Fender Player series, which is a plus for me, and paintjob and binding are perfect.
Some quality concerns though, one pickup ring is broken - screw is not holding the pickup which results in sunken bridge pickup. Also, output jack is loose and cable is rattling, so far it seems it can't be screwed in, but the contact is good. No other concerns for now.
I'll take it to the service and change the parts, it is not going to be expensive, but did not expect poor quality control in such basic things.

Very good for the money.
The guitar is very good value for the money. And came with what feels like it has been set up.
Build quality is what is expected of a Chinese guitar. No noticeable manufacturing defects.
Finish is nice on the guitar. the tapered profile on the back of the neck is nice to play with.

Great guitar, badly rough frets
Mine just arrived today, I love everything about it, the neck is amazing, the tuners are great, the pickups sound good too, the body isn't heavy at all, but the frets, man. Don't know if I got unlucky, but they are scratchier than on my previous guitar which is a $250 Squier Tele. Subsequently bends are really a bother for my fingers and hard to do. Another thing, I heard that bends should be really easy on Les Pauls, but the strings feel so tight and way harder to bend and especially add vibrato to, than on my Tele. Don't know if it's a transitional thing, a string gauge thing, or those cursed frets. I'll have to get them polished/crowned, but other than that, 10/10 guitar and truly great at its price.

Epiphone Les Paul Modern Sparkling Burg
Epiphone Les Paul Modern Sparkling Burg, an excellent guitar in its price segment that has no equal to it, there are certainly shortcomings in appearance, so overall I am satisfied with the instrument.
