Gutes Model zum modden, was ich dann auch gemacht habe.

ich habe mir spezifisch dieses Modell gekauft, da ich bereits seit 5 Jahren einen Serek Midwestern spiele, mein Hauptbass. ich wollte ein günstigeres Modell, welchem dem Serek entspricht.
Nun, grundsätzlich ist alles so wie ich es mir wünschte, jedoch spiegelt der Preis auch die Qualität der verwendeten Parts wieder, bin mir mit dem Serek doch einiges mehr gewohnt. Da die Grundstruktur und das handling meinem Geschmack entsprechen, hat es mich nicht gescheut, einiges in diesen Bass zu investieren, folglich:
- neue Saiten (DR Hi Beams, etwa 40€)
- neue Bridge (Hipshot 2-point Supertone Bridge, etwa 160€
- Guild Bisonic als Neck Pickup (110€)
- 3-wege Schalter, statt blend Pot (10€)
- Hipshot Mini Mechaniken, statt den diecast tuner (ca 150€)
- schlussendlich noch ein Fret leveling und Fretdressing (120€)

jetzt sinds knapp 1000€, welche in diesem Bass stecken, und enstspricht einer 10/10.

wenn man nicht bereit ist, an diesem Bass hand anzulegen, würde ich das Geld lieber in einen anderen Bass investieren.
