Die Ernie Ball Mute Noodles sind echt praktisch! Einfach zwischen die Saiten am Steg stecken, und schon klingt die Gitarre schön weich und warm – fast wie ein Gummisteg. Besonders beim Recorden oder beim gemütlichen Üben abends macht das echt Laune, weil die Nebengeräusche und Obertöne deutlich weniger werden. Das Set mit drei Dämpfer-Größen ist super, damit findet man für jeden Saitentyp die passende Stärke. Manchmal verrutschen sie ein bisschen, wenn man wild spielt, aber das ist schnell wieder gerichtet. Klar, der Preis ist höher als billiger Schaumstoff, aber die Noodles sind wiederverwendbar und fühlen sich hochwertig an – das ist es wert!
