A really robust passive 15" speaker
The EV ELX200-15-W (the W stands for its white colourway) is a very modern two-way passive speaker, the counterpart to the active EV ELX200-15P (the P stands for powered). All the ELX200 speakers are ready for use as all-rounders for DJs and solo artists, for musicians and bands, and for presenters and entertainers. This flexibility also makes them a solid investment for rental companies, venues, and schools. Equipped with a 15" woofer, the ELX200-15 is one of the mid-range models in the ELX200 series; with up to 1200W of peak power, its bevelled wedge shape, and a tripod flange, it can handle almost any scenario, from floor monitor to front-of-house PA.

Less weight, more power
Electro-Voice has given the EV ELX200-15 its own EVS-15M 300 15" woofer as well as a DH-1C 1" titanium tweeter. The frequency response ranges from 52Hz to 19kHz with a crossover frequency of 1.600Hz. The maximum sound pressure level is 130dB, with a coverage angle of 90°x60° and an impedance of eight ohms. An NL4 Speakon socket is installed on the back panel as an input and output. The patented SST waveguide improves the acoustic performance and ensures consistent output across all system configurations with compact housing dimensions.

Hardware for pros and experts
The Electro-Voice ELX200 series is tailor-made for professionals who don't want to make any compromises on sound – while still demanding practicality and usability, either on the road or in a permanent setup. To keep the high-tech inner workings safe, EV has housed it all in a polypropylene chassis with powder-coated steel front grilles, resulting in a user-friendly weight of just 18.7kg for this model. With the handles on the top and sides, it couldn't be easier to get it to the gig. Thanks to three suspension points with an M10 thread, the speakers can also be flown or mounted on trusses. For environments where white speakers don't fit the ambience, Electro-Voice also offers classic black models.
