Son très typé, extrèmement synthétique

Attention à plusieurs choses :
1/ le son de cette peau est très synthétique, extrêmement typé rock. On perd totalement le son naturel de l'instrument.
2/ la sourdine se situe à l'extérieur de la peau, côté frappe. C'est peut être évident mais ça m'avait échappé et pour un tom basse ça n'est pas très pratique (surtout pour un usage où l'on met d'autres éléments dessus, type clochettes/tambourin/grelots...).

Je met cependant une note plutôt bonne car sachant cela, le son est très très "efficace", c'en est même surprenant : en jouant dessus sans amplification, il semblerait que le son est passé par un micro, et serait "equalisé" et compressé très rock.

Der Geheimtipp für "EQed" Floortoms

Das 16er ist ein Hammer für die, die diesen ultrafetten, fast BD-artigen Sound suchen auf tiefen Toms, der bei Chops als Kontrast zu den höheren Toms gewünscht wird.
Zudem kann man mit den Ringen variieren zwischen "hat noch gut Ton" und "gedämpfter Wumme".
Hatte auf 16" und 18" coated Emads im Studio auf alten Tama Superstar Birkenfloors - da kam bereits vorm Mikro ein breites Lächeln auf.

Sur la grosse caisse d'une Tama Cocktail drum c'est beaucoup mieux que les peaux d'origine.

Habe das Fell auf meinem 16" Floor-Tom des SQ2 aufgeschraubt. Mit dem Tune-bot habe ich es auf ca. 64 Hz gestimmt mit wenig Resonanz. Mein Drumset wird i.d.R. immer mikrofoniert. Durch das Fell habe ich einen schönen tiefen Sound, ohne dass das Fell "Flattergeräusche" macht. Genau so wollte ich es haben.
