Fender 350L quality stainless steel strings.

Stainless steel refers to the windings on the lower strings. They have a bit more tension than nickle wound but you soon don't notice any difference. I have used stainless steel strings for many years because they maintain their clarity and do not dull with age. I have not found that the windings wear the frets any more than nickle. Fender produce great quality strings at a very reasonable price in comparison to other brands. Their stainless steel 09-42 sets are my go to choice.

Nachdem das Vorgängermodell der 350L Stainless Steel Strings vor kurzer Zeit vom Markt genommen wurde, bin ich ich froh, dass es nun einen würdigen Nachfolger gibt. Preislich lässt sich an diesen Saiten nichts aussetzen. Auf meiner Fender Strat tun sie mir gute Dienste. Sie haben im neuen Zustand einen kräftigen, aber auch brillanten Klang.
Einziger Wehrmutstropfen ist in meinen Augen die Langlebigkeit. Trotz Edelstahl muss ich die Saiten nach einem vierstündigen Gig ersetzen, da sie sehr schnell verschmutzen/oxidieren und die Verschmutzung den Klang der Saiten doch merklich einschränkt und abdämpft. Durch den günstigen Preis fällt der häufige Saitenwechsel finanziell nicht ins Gewicht.

Ljudkaraktären på Fendersträngarna är i stil med motsvarande Ernie Ball, GHS och D'Angelico strängar. Klangen i D’Addario är mer olik.
