Eine Gitarre mit Durchsetzungsvermögen und angenehm zu spielen

Gesucht hatte ich ein Gegenstück zu meiner Lakewood M32: die Gitarre sollte eine Dreadnought sein, sich gut durchsetzen und eine ordentliche Portion Mitten und Bass mitbringen. Ein Musiker im Freundeskreis besitzt genau dieses Modell Blue D-CM, das ich ausführlich testen konnte. Die angenehme Sattelbreite mit 45mm war genau das Richtige für mich und der Sound stimmte auch.
Nachdem meine Bestellung eintraf, habe ich die Gitarre erst einmal auf die Verarbeitung geprüft und es gibt hier nichts zu meckern - alles perfekt verarbeitet, keine unangenehmen oder scharfen Kanten der Stege am Hals, das Korpusbinding fühlt sich glatt an und sieht auch sehr gut aus. Die Holzauswahl erzeugt genau den Klang, den ich suchte: laut, mittig mit viel Bass !
Schön anzusehen ist das helle Mahagoni und die Zederndecke sowie das dunkle Ebenholz von Kopfplatte, Griffbrett und Steg.
Die Saiten hatte ich nach einigen Wochen gewechselt, da ein 012er-Satz schwerer zu spielen ist als ein von mir gewohnter 011er-Satz.
Die Furch Blue D-CM ist absolut stimmstabil und hält die Stimmung auch nach länger Spielzeit sowie nach einer Woche Pause im Koffer.

Fazit: Für mich genau das Instrument, das ich gesucht habe und ich hatte natürlich auch den Vorteil, die Gitarre vor der Bestellung ausgiebig testen zu können. Die Bespielbarkeit ist auch für Frauenhände sehr angenehm, Picking und Strumming laufen fast wie von selbst :o) Perfekt für Country, Balladen, Jazz, Blues uvm.
