Excellent case for a strat

For as long as I could remember, I wanted a case for my electric guitar. I've invested heavily into it and it really is one instrument of a kind, which made me feel very guilty for keeping it in a simple gig bag. However, I didn't want to buy a bulky heavy case which I've had no idea where to put.

This product is an excellent combination of two worlds: safety of hardshell cases and lightweight with the versatility of gigbags. I currently keep my strat, the tweed strap, spare strings and various accessories in the case and I couldn't be happier about it.

Summarizing the review: it's a great and light case, which will keep your guitar and stuff inside intact. It is, however, bigger and bulkier than most of the gigbags, but that applies to any hardshell case. In my opinion, if you want a case for your beloved Stratocaster, but don't have space or the muscles for the traditional tweed one, this is your best option.

Great quality at a great cost

I own a Gator pedalboard and case that I purchased a few years ago and both have maintained their quality well since, so I decided to go with this guitar case over others in the same category, expecting the same level of quality and similar build to that of the case for my pedalboard. I was not wrong, and the quality of this guitar case actually exceeded my expectations.

The sides are sturdy and well reinforced, unlike a lifeless gig bag, but not entirely solid like a typical hardshell guitar case. The outer pouch is great for misc. guitar tools or picks and the zippers are of decent quality, placement, and functionality both on the pouch and around the shell. Opening up the case, there is a soft inner lining that is of much higher build and material quality than I was expecting, and is not present in the pedalboard case I already owned.

This is a great case, especially for the price. I probably buy another once I need it for a particular guitar.

I'm a big fan of lightweighed cases

This Gator foam case is just what you need to store your guitars. The case is lightweighted, water restant, keep your guitar in place and made transport easy because of the lightweighted materials. The upholstery protects the guitar from scratches and dents! There is even enough space to put spare strings, a stomp box, guitar tuner and your guitar strap in the case.The extra pouch on the outside is large enough to stow away a tablet, small laptop or extra papers and a guitar cable. This is a must have!!!

Amazing: smaller and lighter than what I expected. Yet, my strat fits perfectly. Perhaps the only (minor) downside is that the handle is not comfortable to carry with your hands. But this not bad quality anyways.
