Nicht billig, aber sehr gut!

Sowohl im Orchesterbetrieb, als auch in kleineren Formationen (als Zusätzliches Percussionsinstrument am set) hat mich das Instrument voll überzeugt. Trotz robustem Rahmen (Esche) ist es sehr leicht, die Ausnehmung für den Daumen (auf der Membranseite) ist eine gute Hilfestellung in der Handhabung. Sie ermöglicht einen sicheren Griff, ohne die Membran wesentlich am Schwingen zu hindern. Neusilber Zimbeln (handgearbeitet), die einen satten und vollen Sound produzieren - und nicht nur "scheppern" (wie viele andere Tambourine und Schellenkränze) reagieren sensibel und angepasst. Das Instrument ist mit sehr gut verarbeiteter Ziegenhaut (beide Seiten der Haut sind glatt gearbeitet) bespannt; der "Fellklang" daher dementsprechend "natürlich". Die mitgelieferte Aufbewahrungs/Transporttasche ist robust genug, um den Inhalt ausreichend zu schützen. Ein ebenfalls mitgelieferter "thumb roll ring" aus sandpapierartigem Material, der nach eigenem Belieben aufzukleben ist, ist meiner Meinung nach nicht notwendig.
Fazit: Ein hervorragend gut klingendes, solid verarbeitetes, trotzdem leichtes Tambourin, das seinen Preis (sic.!) wert ist. Wer ein gutes Instrument (und kein Spielzeug, oder "Nebenbei Schepperl") sucht, ist hier richtig.
