Good but could be better

Tabs - always those useless tabs - occupying space, doubling material, less room for more stuff. Could be twice more examples, but tabs
Overall the book is filled with a great stuff to learn.

Excellent Book for Learning Bass

I libri della Hal Leonard sono veramente ben fatti e sono entusiasta di questo volume. In questo, ogni lezione è un capitolo con un argomento diverso e in pochi passi gli autori spiegano bene con degli esempi (anche audio, scaricabili dal sito) chiari ed efficaci.
L'unica nota "negativa" (magari è un errore di stampa) sta nel fatto che, secondo me, alcune lezioni sono invertite, nel senso che in alcuni spartiti di esempio vengono utilizzate delle tecniche spiegate nei capitoli successivi.
Non è per bassisti alle prime armi perché da già per scontato che il lettore conosca la maggior parte dei concetti di base ma in ogni caso è un libro che consiglio vivamente per approfondire le eventuali lacune, per semplice "curiosità bassistica", per avere delle nuove idee o ispirazioni nel mondo del funk e dell'RnB.

Tolles Arbeitsbuch für Fortgeschrittene

Ich spiele seit sehr langer Zeit E- und Kontrabass in verschiedenen Genres und Ensembles. Das Buch habe ich als Arbeitsbuch, wie z.B. die Bassbibel von Westwood, gekauft. Es wendet sich an E- und Kontrabassisten, setzt den Schwerpunkt im Jazz (wie der Titel sagt) und verwendet neben der Notation auch Tabulaturen. Erfahrung und am besten Unterricht setze ich für den Gebrauch des Buches voraus, für das Selbststudium im Anfängerstadium ist es zu anspruchsvoll. Von mir als erfahrenem Bassisten gibt es die volle Punktzahl.
