Harley Benton CLD-65SE NT

First off ... I've been playing professionally, on and off for 30+ years ... I own EXPENSIVE guitars ... fender, hand built etc ... and I have got to the point where I don't want to take those guitars out of the house!! lol .. Harley Benton to the rescue! I now own over a half dozen various HB models and they are all great guitars ... a coupe of them 'Exceptional' ... So on to this acoustic ... Its great finish and set up are amazing, the sound , plugged in and not plugged in is amazing. I have played a yamaha apx for the last ten plus years and it needs an overhaul but I needed a stand in while that happens so I picked this one ... hoping for a fuller, shiny highs, nice lows type of guitar. It kinda fits in that bracket, especially plugged in with the mids scooped. I promised myself not to get a cutaway ... and that definitely helps the sound ... it plays really well .. neck is great ... comes with guage12 strings which i'm not used to but also they add to the sound ... for the money .. wow!
pros ... finish, feel, sound (I like the eq and tuner) easy battery replacing. REALLY like the strap button position near the neck (well done HB)
cons ... a little bit of dressing on the frets past the 12th fret req(almost unnoticable) ... the depth of the body might not suit everyone (it's wider than some but with a strap, it's fine for me)... the machine heads are 'cheaper' open backed .. but work perfectly so might not be to everyones taste
For the money it's a no brainer ....

Die Gitarre kam sehr gut verpackt, sodass nichtmal DHL es geschafft hat das Instrument zu beschädigen. Ausgepackt, gestimmt und gespielt so muss es sein. Sie liegt mir gut in der Hand, es gibt Akkorde die kann ich mit dieser Gitarre sauber spielen was mir mit meiner anderen Gitarre nie gelungen ist. Der Klang ist nicht mit einer Costum Linie von Gibson zu vergleichen, wer das tut hat es eh nicht verstanden. Klanglich bin ich zufrieden mit Abstrichen. Sobald man eine Kapo einsetzt und über den 5 Bund kommt ist der Klang für mich nicht mehr gut. Ich empfinde es als dumpf......Die Saiten (12-53) die auf der Gitarre waren sind etwas stärker als das was ich sonst nehme (11-52) das habe ich sofort gemerkt. Ob das Klanglich etwas verändert, weiß ich nicht.
Was gefällt mir nicht: Gitarre riecht sehr frisch.....Ich meine noch Leim gerochen zu haben. Für den Tuner hätte es eine kleine Beschreibung geben können.
Alles in allem für Einsteiger ok, für den routiniert Bühnenmusiker eher nicht.

Ich habe die Harley Benton CLD-65SE NT Ende Januar bestellt. Nach drei Tagen stand das Paket vor meiner Haustür. Ausgepackt und gestaunt. Eine wunderbare Maserung und eine optisch gelungene Dreadnought für wenig Geld. Kurz angespielt und positiv überrascht von der Saitenlage, perfekt. Auch der Sound ist einfach rund und wohlklingend. Das hätte ich in dieser Preisklasse nicht erwartet. Am Verstärker klingt das Ganze natürlich auch top. Überrascht hat mich die hohe Rückkopplungsfreiheit bei Nähe zu den Boxen. Ich konnte keine Verarbeitungsmängel feststellen. Auch nach einem Monat nehme ich die Harley täglich gerne in die Hand. Alles OK - Kaufempfehlung

Ho preso questa chitarra come workhorse, necessitando di una acustica elettrificare da suonare con facilità in contesti live con line check veloci. Avevo già avuto una HB (una clj45) acustica e mi ero trovato bene

La chitarre è stata seduta ed è arrivata in meno di una settimana, tutto perfetto, consegna, imballaggio etc

Mi ha sorpreso molto positivamente. L'estetica è sobria e classica, curata pur essendo semplice. È una chitarra che non stufa alla vista ma appunto è molto sobria e classica

Il manico è molto confortevole (un modern c direi), i tasti ben posati, niente fret taglienti o sporgenti. Ho trovato l' action adatta al mio gusto, corde morbide e grande suonabilità. La finitura satinata open pore è bella e compete con chitarre di fascia media ma con prezzi più alti.

Il suono è abbastanza bilanciato tra bassi medi e alti, lascia intuire che migliorerà col tempo.

Piccoli interventi come il cambio sella, perni e capotasto (passando dalla plastica all'osso) potrebbero rendere il suono ancora più ricco. Per esperienza personale non ho mai trovato nulla di meglio per questo prezzo e appunto risulta al livello di strumenti di fascia media (400/600 euro). Molto consigliata
