Harley Benton PowerPlant ISO-5 Pro

The box itself does the job perfectly. No noise, isolated outputs, and my pedals sound great! It's smaller than some of my pedals, which I love. The LEDs are not too bright, which I also love. Looks good too!

My only complaints are the other stuff that comes with it. The 60cm long DC cables are far too long for my needs and are too thick. I think both connectors should be right-angled, the straight one just wastes space. That said, the outputs on the box are very close together and right-angled jacks are a tight fit. I will be making my own cables. The 12V power supply cable needs to be longer and is worryingly thin.

Overall, it's a good package at a great price. If you have high-gain distortion pedals mixed with digital effects, this will get rid of the unpleasant noise digital noise.

I'm sending mine back to exchange for a larger version with more outputs. I realise that best results are when all my digital pedals are on their own output and with only 5 on this unit I've left myself no room for expansion.

If anyone wonders: fits perfectly on the Harley Benton Spaceship 50C.

Having two switchable outputs for higher voltage is always a good thing. It's nice to have options. It's a very compact PSU that easily fits under a modest pedal board. Cable length is more than adequate (dare I say: a bit too long?).

The biggest downside to me is only having an angled connector on 1 side. On smaller boards you'll want to use those under the board and you'll have connectors sticking of the board on top. Would have preferred only 90 degree connectors. But you can't win em all. Decided that's 1 star of (although honestly it's very situational).

Noise seems to be none existent.

Bonne alim qui fait le job, aucun bruit parasite et aucun problème d'alimentation pour mes quatre pédales (pour basse).

Deux problèmes néanmoins:
- les câbles sont beaucoup trop longs pour une si petite alimentation. Avec cinq sorties, elle est logiquement faite pour des petits pedalboards, je ne comprends donc pas pourquoi HB fournit de si longs câbles (ou en tout cas tous de la même longueur). Ils ne resteront probablement pas longtemps sur mon setup.
- Thomann me l'a conseillée pour aller sous un pedalboard HB Spaceship 50c. Je dirais qu'elle est en réalité un peu trop petite pour être correctement fixée en dessous du pedalboard (elle bouge énormément en utilisant les élastiques fournis). Une alimentation plus épaisse aurait probablement été plus adéquate.
