Vom neuen Ibanez SR 2600 Bass bin ich angenehm überrascht. Da ich schon einige Music Man, Sandberg und Fender Bässe besitze, war ich auf der Suche nach einem neuen Bass mit einem anderen Sound. Da hat mich der Ibanez sehr überzeugt. Sehr gute Verarbeitung, edles Finish und dazu noch megaleicht. Der Bass ist sehr gut ausbalanciert und lässt sich sehr gut tragen. Der dünne und schmale Hals lässt sich sehr gut spielen. Der Bass ist aktiv oder passiv zu betreiben. Da gibt es tonal schon einen großen Unterschied. Wenn man die Bässe im aktiven Modus anhebt, dann geht es schon ordentlich zur Sache. Wenn es wirklich einen Schwachpunkt gibt, dann ist es die Anordnung des Klinkensteckers. Den finde ich dort nicht optimal platziert. Alles in allen ein Top Bass zu einem Preis, der für einen Bass aus Indonesien schon sehr hoch scheint, aber den Vergleich zu den teureren Mitbewerbern nicht scheuen muss.
