Not good for thin necks
I bought 2 of these and the result was not exactly what I expected. The holder is well fabricated, sturdy, it won't break, it will hold the weight of almost any guitar. My problem is that it's not that good for very thin necks like my MIM telecaster. The 2 rubber covered studs that hold the instrument rotate downward to accommodate the width of your neck and the weight of the instrument is enough to keep them grasping it. The problem is that the width of the telecasters neck is just a couple millimeters wider than the minimum space between the 2 studs so it ends up sliding from the side where the tuning pegs are and not only moving the pegs and messing the tuning but the instruments ends up hanging and doing pressure on the first (low E) tuning peg. I don't think this holder would be good for a mandolin eather, not enough weight to make the studs grasp.
For the rest of my guitars (Ibanez's, Les Pauls etc.) it works perfect.

Works fine but don't use electric drill!!
The wall mount itself is very high quality but the holes for the screws are just surrounded by soft plastic. When I used an electric screwdriver to fasten the screws they went straight through the soft plastic! They really should have used metal here. Or at least some tougher kind of plastic. I ruined one of the three mounts I had purchased. For the other two I fastened the screws manually and they work fine.
To sum it up: Great wall mounts but don't use an electric screwdriver. It might also be a good idea to use a metal washer between screw/mount to prevent problems.

Good but plastic
Pros: good item and it's very stable for my acoustic guitar.
Cons: description states the material is metal, which is sadly misleading, as the base you fix to the wall is in fact plastic...
Anyway, it does its job and I'm fairly happy with it.

Excellent product, and made in Germany
The mechanism functions very well, and they very securely hold guitars. A small amount of extra material to reinforce the screw holes would be good as it is possible to pull a screw through the clamp if excessive torque is used during installation.

Sturdy holder
This is a quality product you can feel confident to put your expensive guitar in. The claw mechanism works great.
My one complaint, and that goes for most guitar holders, is that in this day, it should not be acceptable to sell one that can damage the finish on the guitar. Nitrocellulose (or whatever the sensitive lacquer is called today) finished guitars are not exactly rare.
That said, you can use an old sock or something to protect the guitar from the holder if necessary.

Solid, affordable plastic guitar hanger
Living in an apartment with difficult walls, I wanted a guitar hanger with a large backplate. This is about the biggest I've found. It's plastic, but it's very tough plastic, and the rotating grip works well, although it's probably too narrow for wider necks like 6 string basses, 8 string guitars etc.
Main drawbacks - the installation instructions are only in German, it doesn't come with any screws or wall plugs, and the back panel is moulded rather than flat, so you can't attach Dual Lock or similar to it and attach it easily to a flightcase for temporary use without screws.

Great holder, but does not work well with telecaster headstock
It's really easy to hang all other types of guitars, just having some problems positioning telecaster :)

Simple and safe
Simple design, the autolocking is very stable and safe. No way that guitar is going to slide off and have an unfortunate meeting with the floor. Great buy.

It's a simple addition to any Guitarist/bassist life. I have had no problems with it thus far so I can't really see many issues other than the material feels a bit cheap meaning that at some point sooner or later, it wouldn't surprise me if it broke but that's just my paranoia about my instruments getting damaged. But as I said, no problems so far.
