I bought this to go in a telecaster I was putting together. The neck pickup I used is the Lollar Charlie Christian telecaster neck pickup.
I had been told that the B.S. was the perfect partner. It was easy enough install once I had made the pickup cavity a little deeper (Something you may have to consider).
Even though it is a single coil pickup, I have had no problem with excessive hum. The tone is nice and fat without being shrill. I like the sound on its own and also in combination with the neck pick up with the selector in the middle position.
It doesn't sound too "doinkey" when both pick ups are engaged. (As can often be the case with some pickups) The construction is excellent.
I don't know if this would suit you if you are using distorted tones...but as I play clean with a little bit of an edge and jazz music this does the job perfectly. I love this product.

zu lollar braucht man nicht viel zu sagen, alles schweinegeile pickups!
dieser hier ist so klasse, knackig, rund, agro... wie es nicht nicht hätte besser sein können!
der preis ist heftig, klar, selbst ohne einfuhrunsatzsteuer (also für ami's).
nur wenn man einen guten pickup haben will, führt kein weg an den produkten der firma vorbei.
ich hatte die pu's zuerst bei einigen profis in nashville gesehen. wobei es nicht immer so super-ganz-deutlich zu sehen ist... doch bei einem hals-pu war es zu sehen, den konnte man eindeutig identifizieren. daraufhin hatte ich den gitarristen mal gefragt, was das denn für eine marke sei, und er erzählte mir, dass der von vielen nashville-profis genommen wird.
ich kann das positive bild nur bestätigen.
inzwischen haben auch einige meiner schüler sich pickup's vom lollar in ihre tele eingebaut. alle sind hochzufrieden.

Prachtig mooi geluid, minder string pull, mooie harmonics. gekocht samen met de neckpickup (charlie christian) van Lollar. Praktische tip: je moet wel de pickup cavity en slagplaat van je tele goed -laten- aanpassen.
