I was looking for a stand to play the viola. Being 1m87 I found most stands too short. This one is perfect in terms of height and is very easy to adjust. One just needs to pull the main shaft up or push it down. It is also very stable, due to its weighted base.
The desk is wide and sturdy, and can accommodate entire books, its supports a reasonable weight. The desk can also be easily tilted.
This stand meets all my needs and I can't see anything to not to like about it. It is very dependable.

Great stand for playing instruments upright

I am 1.80m tall and I really wanted to play the saxophone upright. This stand seems to be close to the only one in the market that lets me keep my sheet music at eye level and keep good posture.

El Manhasset 48 un poco más alto.

Es idéntico al modelo 48 solo que trae una barra extensible unos 15 cm más larga. Esto limita también su altura mínima elevándola 15cm.
Lo peor es que al no haber cambiado la pieza negra inferior, en la que va introducida la barra que soporta la estructura superior donde se ponen las partituras, al "plegar el atril" (bajarlo y doblarlo hacia atrás al máximo) queda un poco cutre.
En rasgos generales es buena calidad y resistente.

Ein Ständer für einen Laptop

Für meine Gitarren-Noten und -Tabs benutze ich einen Laptop. Deshalb suchte ich einen Ständer, der das Gewicht des Laptops (2 kg) aushält und einen stabilen Stand hat.
Ich habe bei meiner Suche zwar spezielle Ständer für Tablets, aber nicht für Laptops gefunden.
Die Gewichts-Vorgabe hat der Manhasset-Ständer leicht erfüllt. Ohne eine zusätzliche Verstärkung hält der Ständer 2,5 kg aus, mit einer Verstärkung (Shaft Lock) bis zu 34 kg.
Im Gegensatz zu zusammenklappbaren Ständern sind die Füsse angeschweißt, was eine grössere Stabilität ergibt. Zudem sind die Füsse des Ständers flach und die Füsse des Spielers bleiben nicht daran hängen.
Alles in allem ein stabiler und leicht verstellbarer Ständer, auf den ich meinen Laptop stellen kann. Potential für Verbesserung sind nur grössere Füsse für einen noch massiveren Stand.
