Meinl Byzance Dark Splash 8"

This complements the traditional splash of the same size. After comparing sound samples, both here and on the Meinl website, I realised that this had a higher pitch than the traditional version. Physically it has the same profile, but the metal is slightly thinner, with the oxide coating left on under the protective lacquer. It looks quite a different colour to any on-line illustrations when you actually see it!

Great little splash

As a fan of Meinl Byzance I own a few of the splashes. This particular one is used for 8" aux hi hat as the top cymbal in combination with the Meinl Classic 8" high bell as the bottom cymbal mounted on Meinl aux hi-hat holder.

Zur Erweiterung des Set´s und der Soundvielfältigkeit sehr gut geeignet! Das "Kleine" leistet eine gute Arbeitund bereichert jeden Stil.

Bon , j'ai pu essayer cette SPLASH MEINL aujourd'hui même sur scene...elle repond parfaitement à mon attente, vive , precise , un son stable , assez chaud et court bien sur...il faut apprécier ce petit son chantant , évidemment...la fabrication est excellente , agréable au toucher , sensuelle...Bravo MEINL , le son Bysance , TURC quoi!!!
