Idee: Das leise Üben als Anfänger auf dem toppen 6" Pad von Meinl noch "transportabler" machen, also gleiche Funktion mit noch kleinerem Fußabdruck. Passt im Prinzip wunderbar, allerdings habe ich den Eindruck, dass das kleinere Format den Schaumstoff noch "unbouncier" macht. Die geringe Lautstärke erkauft man sich ohnehin schon mit weniger Rebound, der - so erkläre ich es mir - bei dem ganz kleinen Pad durch die geringere Gesamtmasse noch weiter reduziert wird. Also: Empfehlung für 6", und wenn es ganz klein sein muss, geht dieses auch (noch).
