Thick outside material and thick padding protection.

I'm using these Conga bags with the Meinl HC555 Conga set 10" and 11" (These bags come in different sizes according to your conga sizes)
Pros -
Best price!
Thick nylon material, feels resistant, there is an inside protective padding and the top also has padding plus something strong like a slim disc of plastic or cartoon which it provides protection to the conga head. I love this feature.
If you are not using them, the smaller one fits inside the bigger one and it closes without any problem.
Cons -
None.
Of course, you can always want to have some extra features in your product but for this price the product is excellent.
Shipping -
Delivery address - Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Shipping time - It took less than a week! Very fast.
Remarks - I need to mention that I placed this order during the covid quarantine days, but nothing disturbed the shipping and delivery speed.
Thomann customer service -
Brilliant as usual, polite, friendly, they speak your language.
Price - The best, lower than the competitors price.
Thank you Thomann and the whole team!

Good gig bag
Anonymous 08.08.2015
The build quality of these bags is good, materials and construction wise. I haven't seen any damage to them with moderate gig use of a few months, which is surprising for a cheapish soft case.
The padding is very thick and sturdy, reassuring when it's being chucked into a van for transport.
A drawback is that this thick padding is also on the base of the bag, so when trying to store congas upright in this bag they invariably sink into the padding and then fall over. I suppose you could solve that easily by either placing a flat metal weight inside on the base so as to make it more stable, or by tying the bag to something upright with a piece of string using the small tab at the top of the bag. I just store them laying down.
The handles and back straps are nicely padded so comfortable. This is very useful in an alternative use of this bag I've found which is very handy, it is a fantastic gig bag when I'm not using my congas. Spacious enough for hardware, cables, you name it, and with the build quality of this bag it's okay to sling it on my back and carry everything at once.
On the whole a good bet if you want some protection and convenience in transport for your congas. But a good hardcase might be better if you're a heavy gigger.

perfect for the job
Telefax 25.08.2020
I bought these 2 years ago at the same time as buying my congas and they are used a couple of times a month for transporting the drums to and from gigs an recording sessions.
They are a simple design, nicely padded with strong zips and fit perfectly.
So, they've been in service for 2 years so far, used regularly and have held up really well. They look like they have many more years of that kind of usage left in them.
I really think that there would be very little to be gained from paying more. They are perfect for the job of protecting your congas during normal use.

Value for money

I bought this conga bag set over two years ago and it's still going strong. Very comfortable to manually carry about with remarkably easy handling.
