Major Disappointment
Haik5 10.09.2021
First of all, it arrived in absolutely disastrous string set up condition... the low B was at least 2 cm above the neck...the E was so low it was touching the pick ups...which were way too high...I mean really...when you order a bass that costs this much...at least you would expect some quality check if not from the fabricant at least from Thomann...very shameful...I have had cheap Squire basses that arrive with a better set up than this....
Second...after readjusting the pick up height myself (worth noting there is not a single tool provided with the bass), usually most guitars or basses arrive with basic set up tools...a wrench or a tross rod adjusting key or something...here...nothing... just a couple of fancy tissues to wipe of the dust...
so I had to borrow the set up tools from my Gibson (thank you Gibson, it was included with a guitar, and even accompanied by a leather strap and a hardcase...all for 1000 euro) ...take note Music man... 3690 and not even a strap or a tool to adjust truss rod...
anyways after i set up the pick up height...and lowered the B string I notice the E string is practically touching the Neck when I play an open E... its just muted... I mean...really... all the other strings are fine..but the E string is dead... what kind of quality check up have they done at the factory????
I have sent this bass back...and requested moneyback and i hope they will transfer this feedback to Music man so they can get a reality check...
shame!!! shame!! shame!!

Großartiges Profi-Instrument
Meypelnek 20.07.2022
