I've bought this to fix two of my basses which shrank their necks over winter. Watched a couple of videos on how to bevel the edges and found that some tool like this is great for that (plus extra files). It beveled HB and custom bass nicely. I'm planning on doing my own maintenance and soon to build something, looks a bit expensive but I couldn't find anything cheaper that works and looks dummy proof for beginners.
