Angenehm spielbar, klingt gut

Kürzlich habe ich mir das LM2 Altsaxophonmundstück bestellt. Es kam umgehend, ich konnte es direkt probieren. Auf einem modernen Instrument kannte ich das Mundstück schon, da funktionierte es mit einem Kunststoffblatt stets sehr gut. Der Klang mit einem legere-Blatt Stärke 2 3/4 auf meinem Buescher-Vintage-Instrument hingegen ist eher fast zu sehr gedeckt, mit einem VanDoren Java Stärke 3 jedoch klingt das alte Saxophon nun ebenfalls voll und rund und hat ein schönes Obertonspektrum. Das Mundstück reagiert generell ausgeglichen und völlig unproblematisch in allen Registern. Selbst die Intonationsschwächen des alten Instruments werden leicht verbessert - erstaunlich! Fazit : Das LM2 wird wohl mein Grundfavorit sowohl im klassischen als auch im Jazzbereich werden, sodass ich das Mundstück sehr gern weiterempfehle.
