Habe mir das R&C als Gegenstück für mein Yanagisawa gekauft. Sound war beim Probespielen überzeugend, angelehnt an Mark IV. Hatte anfangs allerdings ein paar Probleme mit dem Instrument, die Dank der Nachjustierung der Servicemitarbeiter der Bläserabteilung behoben werden konnten.
Also , das Instrument ist top vom Sound her, vor allem in den Tiefen ist es sehr sonor. In der Höhe ab F3 spricht der Ton angestoßen allerdings nicht optimal an, gebunden hingegen problemlos.
Das mitgelieferte Mundstück ist nicht verwendbar und ein anderes als ahebildet war. Habe festgestellt, dass Mundstücke mit Hufeisenform-Kammer am geeignetsten sind. Spiele Selmer C** , eine gute Kombination in Richtung Sound der 40er Jahre.
Insgesamt schönes Instrument.
