Tested in an A/B comparison with the following speakers: art 912, art 915, art 932, art 945, yamaha dzr 12.
Art 912 vs art 932: 932 waaay better sound and louder on the 932. Make an effort and buy the 932.
Art 932 vs art 915: 915 sounded muffled, poor sound quality, just don’t buy 15 inch tops. Better with art 912
Art 932 vs nx 932: a little more warmth on the nx because of the wood enclosure. Very small increase in sound quality, but the nx feels more rugged, better for the road, a more quality speaker.
Nx 932 vs art 945: art 945 packs a punch! But is still is muffled vs the 932. In my opinion, 15 inch speakers just don’t belong high in the air. But this speaker (945) is a really good 15 inch speaker.
Nx 932 vs yamaha dzr 12. The rcf just blew it off the water. No way they are in the same category of price. The yamaha really belongs in the art 912 category.
After 6 hours of comparisons, I went with a pair of NX 932. I will pair them with 4 x 15 inch subs. Yes, with this tops you need 4 subs! Or at least 2 when doing smaller events. Very powerfull and impressive sound quality!
If you are on a budget, just buy the art 932.
Would have been nice to see more DSP options like on the yamaha or RCF AX series tops. But this is easily solvable with the sub AX series.

Ok, maar de 945 heeft duidelijk meer vermogen.

Getest in A/B naast de RCF art 945-a.

Power and Clarity

The RCF NX 932-A stands out significantly from its more economical counterpart, the ART 932, offering a higher resolution in sound that is noticeably warmer. This speaker delivers impressive low-end performance for its size, with plenty of depth from the 12-inch driver. However, it's worth noting that RCF tends to boost frequencies between 1.5kHz to 2.0kHz, which is fantastic for making vocals stand out but can be less ideal for achieving a flat sound across various instruments. While the NX 932-A excels on outdoor stages with its considerable power, it may be overwhelming for smaller indoor events with fewer than 50 people. In summary, this speaker is excellent for large venues or outdoor use but might not be the best choice for more intimate settings.
