These heads are great if you want to achieve a controlled warm sound, as they enhance the mid-low range frequencies of the drum.
The inlay ring around the inside of the head is a definite pro as it controls the sustain of the head just the right amount letting it breath a bit which gives you a lot of control over the sound live as a sound engineer can add more reverb if needed whether u want that controlled damp sound or a larger sounds.

Power stroke
I’ve been using Remo Powerstroke for a long time, and the results are excellent on all my drum kits. They work great on my Tama Silverstar VK426ZS limited series with a 26" bass drum, as well as on my Pearl Midtown with smaller sizes and a 16" bass drum. They are versatile, always in tune, durable, and produce a rich, nuanced, and well-controlled sound. They never let you down, and for rock and blues, they are just perfect!

My Go-To For Toms
I love these. Punchy, warm, versatile, good sustain, but also not prone to gross overtones. Saves defaulting to muffling techniques too quickly.
