Always, as a vegetarian,I felt uncomfortable buying guitar straps with their leather ends. So when I saw this Richter strap with the non-leather ends I thought I would give them a try. The leather substitute seems to be strong enough for the job, I have added Thomann rubber strap locks for extra support and safety. The strap is 50mm wide, I have deducted one point for comfort only because it is attached to a Harley Benton Sc-400 Les Paul type and for a guitar of it's weight a wider pad at the shoulder would be preferable, however for practicing for an hour or two it's perfectly fine. Woven plain black back, and patterned top in understated grey and black squares it reminds me of something a priest would wear as part of his/her vestments. All stitching is of an acceptable standard and I believe the strap will stand the test of time.
