This is a must have accessories for anyone who have Rode microphones. With this Rode RM2 mis stand adapter i am able to use my Rode Nt1A as a Overheads on stereo bar, Again NT1A as bottom snare microphone, top scin Tom an Floor ....Rode microphone mounting nut is also included which is nice. All in all very good alternative to original spider type Rode shock mount for a great price.

j
for Rode NT1-A

Does the job.

Pros. making easier handling the Rode mic positioning when shockmount is not necessary to use (micing instrument or cabinet etc)

Cons. not very good connection to the mic Rode NT1-A for example. The thread of the nut of RM2 is reaching the thread of the Rode NT1-A only partly and does not make feel very confident about the safety of not dropping the mic when moving it around for positioning etc.

Good alternative
Mike Kampitakis 20.12.2018
I bought this as an alternative to my rode shock mount (included on microphone package). The shock mount was good but unpractical for some cases. This one is smaller, so it can allow you microphone placements on a variety of situation, when you don't really need a shock mount to do that. The clamp is steady and way more practical, but it will not eliminate any movement of the microphone itself, occurring during recordings.

Good mic support - should have been in the box!

Rode's shock mount is quite good but takes up a lot of space. This clip eliminates that problem quite nicely.
