Not for me - analytical but not very musical to my ears

This is nicely made, adaptable (wired or Bluetooth) and ideal for its intended use - which is monitoring music - the clarity and sound stage are both excellent, you can follow each instrument and hear every flaw. Its pretty ruthless with any sibilance, distortion etc. On well recorded tracks you can here studio / room acoustics, sometimes even how the mics are set up - which is impressive.
But I got this for listening to jazz / rock / contemporary music on the move, for pleasure - and for that it is not so well suited. Even messing with the EQ its just too analytical, too harsh, too shouty. It lacks warmth and musicality. The sound is marginally better wired, but Bluetooth is my main use case.
The mids and highs are very crisp, but the low frequencies don't extend that far, listen to anything with double bass or church organ and it can be hard to know which notes are being played sometimes. FWIW it is better with well recorded Acoustic or Classical and pretty decent used as a headset with voice calls (only tried in a quiet office so far).
FWIW my comparison headphone is Sennheiser HD600, which is pretty revealing too, but much more flattering of the music - and I love them to bits

Best in-ears I've ever touched.

Bought this for a family member, complete overkill for their use but I wanted them to have quality in-ears. They love them and if I'm ever in need of a pair of in-ears, I know what I'm getting myself

Poor sound quality (both treble and bass) for a Sennheiser product, even at this price level. Additionally, the low "Maximum Volume" makes the overall experience disapointing.

Ich nutze die Kopfhörer zum Musik und Podcast hören, sowohl zu Hause, als auch unterwegs und zum Joggen. Der Klang ist sehr, sehr gut, ziemlich ausgewogen, nicht zu basslastig und die Höhen sind für mein Empfinden auch nicht zu scharf. Die Kopfhörer pairen schnell und zuverlässig. Das Steckersystem und der mitgelieferte 3,5mm-Klinkenanschluss finde ich vorbildlich, weil flexibel und nachhaltig - auch wenn ich mir hier eine universalere Steckerverbindung gewünscht hätte. Mir gefällt gut, dass die Earplugs recht klein sind, gut und sehr sicher im und am Ohr sitzen und sie dementsprechend auch gut von Umgebungsgeräuschen abschirmen. Der Akku und das Teil zum Steuern von Lautstärke und Wiedergabe sind vom Gewicht und der Position her recht gut ausbalanciert. Trotzdem nervt das Bauart bedingte "Gebaumel" manchmal auch etwas. Die Kopfhörer wirken insgesamt recht solide und gut verarbeitet und die Akkulaufzeit ist absolut zufriedenstellend. Wer einfach nur ordentliche, kleine Bluetooth-Kopfhörer sucht, der findet durchaus günstigere Alternativen. Die IE 100 von Sennheiser sind ihren Preis aber durch ihre Vielseitigkeit und den hervorragenden Sound absolut wert!
