Very good pickups for fair price.
I bought this set as an upgrade for my Epiphone Sheraton II.
The job of replacing pickups on a Semi Acoustic is not too relaxed if you do it the first time. But finally the pickups and the potis where in place again and working.
As the name promises this pickups really give a great vintage Blues, Rock and Jazz tone.
The neck pickup is not to much on the bass side the bridge postion is not to harsh.
Really a great upgrade from the Epiphone stock pickups. They are not sooo bad but the SH-59 Set revealed the full potential of the guitar.
The weakest part now really sits or stands behind the guitar.
But i'm working to improve that side too.

335 came to life
I replaced a set of Gibson 57 classics with these on a Gibson 335.
Nicely matched output for bridge and neck. Way more touch sensitive and beautiful bright open sound. 500k pots are a must if you want them to sound right. No muddy-ness on the neck pickup. Playing with the volume and tone controls, you can get all the classic sounds you would expect from a nice 335. From Jazz to Funk and Classic rock.
The guitar really transformed!
Aftermarket Schaller Nickel covers fitted perfectly on them as well if you like that classic look.

Great sounding pickups!
I upgraded my stock Epiphone LP probuckers with these and the difference is amazing.
Less muddyness, more clarity and brightness.
Highly recomended for anyone that's looking for a pickup upgrage.

Great set
Recently had to change the heart of my guitar - the pickups.
As I'm playing in folk/rock genre, with mellow side, these fit perfectly.
I was very anxious as how the sound will be, since I was very fond of the ones that came with Epiphone, but my worries were for naught, as the sound is great. It's clear, quite bright, bit warm where you want. Well heard, clear nuances in bridge/neck positions.

My favourite humbuckers
Bought these to replace the decidely mediocre pickups in my Epiphone Dot.
Beautiful classic humbucker tones with a warm creamy edge, especially on the neck pickup.. Suits my guitar and playing style perfectly

Perfect for blues/rock, great tone at reasonable price.
Installed in an Epiphone Les Paul - give warm, rich tones, perfect for classic rock, blues etc. Easily sounds as good as, if not better than Gibson and boutique offerings. (I've compared to Gibson, Bare Knuckle etc and these easily hold their own).
Great and reasonably priced upgrade for Epi guitars or similar, but also good enough to upgrade Gibson offerings.
Taking 1 star off as the 'wrapping' around the pickups has creased slightly after being hit by my pick while playing. Doesn't cause any issue, but is a very slight cosmetic fault when examined very closely.

Great pickups
I installed these in my Ibanez Artcore. They vastly improved the sound over the stock pickups. I use them for jazz guitar. Recommend.

Great blues Pick-ups
I built a les paul based on a 58 design so these were a perfect compliment. The bridge pick-up is not too trebely and the neck pick-up is nice and smooth.
