Basically the only solution

The product is really good, but it tends to liquefy too much over time.....still...it remains the best solution. All the others do the same, but this one comes with the double product bottle, so you can apply more of the one you need. The small bottle, silicon based solution, coats the inside of the female in order to fill the holes and scratches, the bog bottle acts like a base to retain small water drops and use them as ball bearings

Slide O Mix is without doubt the best product on the market for lubricating your slide. It keeps the slide working at its optimum as well as protecting the slide. As a teacher of brass instruments for 25 years I would not use any other product for this job. I recommend this product very highly.

I will need to give this some time but it does appear to work really well. This was suggested to me by the bass trombonist at my band who has been playing for a VERY long time -- it's the best thing he has found.

The small bottle contains a light lube and the larger bottle is a thicker lube. You will also need a small bottle of water which is not included here -- the instructions suggest a spray bottle and I think they sell that seperately. Any bottle of water would do though.

I cleaned off the claggy grease that was on the slide; it moves very smoothly after applying Slide O' Mix. I don't know how long it lasts so how regularly I will need to reapply it.

Cheap product and good quality. I've been using it quite a lot, and I'm very pleased. The lubricant quality is good lasts enough. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
